These terms govern your use of Linguify, operated by The Cloud Collective SL ("we", "us"). By signing in or embedding our widget you agree to them.
The service
Linguify translates text on websites you own. You point DNS at our edge, or embed our JS widget, and we serve translations generated by third-party AI providers (default: Google Translation LLM). We cache the output so return visitors load sub-second.
Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old (EU) or 13 (elsewhere) to create an account.
- One workspace per legal entity. Share access via teammate invites, not by sharing credentials.
- You are responsible for everything done with your API keys. Rotate from the dashboard if you suspect exposure.
What you may do
- Translate any content you own or are authorised to translate.
- Use the widget on any number of pages you own per your plan's language + word limits.
- Extract translations out of Linguify at any time (dashboard → Export, or
GET /v1/translations).
What you may not do
- Translate content that infringes copyright, promotes illegal activity, or violates any applicable law.
- Resell Linguify as your own translation service (white-label is available via our Partner plan — contact us).
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, load-test, or scrape the Service.
- Circumvent plan limits (e.g. rotating free accounts to avoid the word cap).
- Translate PII you don't have consent to process.
Your content
Text you push through Linguify stays yours. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to process it only for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy. We do not train models on your content. We do not use it to improve features for other customers.
Plans & billing
- The Free plan is genuinely free — no credit card, 2,000 words / month.
- Paid plans (Starter, Business, Pro, Advanced, Enterprise) are billed monthly in USD via Stripe. VAT / sales tax added where applicable.
- Downgrade or cancel any time from the Stripe Customer Portal. You keep access until the end of the current billing period.
- We may suspend accounts that exceed plan limits by more than 20 % for three consecutive days — we'll email first.
- Prices may change. Existing subscribers are honoured at their current price for 12 months after any increase.
Service level
Target uptime is 99.9 % (measured monthly, edge + API). We credit downtime above 0.1 % pro rata on request. Read the status page for current incidents.
Third-party providers
Translations are produced by third-party AI. We don't guarantee the translation is perfect, legally compliant, or culturally appropriate — you're responsible for reviewing critical copy. The Visual Editor exists for exactly that.
Warranties & liability
The Service is provided "as is" except where local consumer law says otherwise. Our aggregate liability to you is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages (lost profits, business interruption, SEO ranking drops, etc.) to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Termination
You may delete your workspace anytime from Settings → Danger zone. We may terminate for material breach (abuse, non-payment, illegal content) with 7 days' notice by email. On termination you have 30 days to export your data before it's permanently erased.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes get emailed to workspace owners 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Spain. Disputes go to the courts of Barcelona, Spain — except where mandatory consumer law gives you a different forum.
